Teachers’ Training

Is a closed training event (no auditors allowed) consisting of 2 individual supervised teaching sessions per day (morning and afternoon) under the personal direction of Rachel Bersier with a duration of 30 min each. In each session the trainee will work with two practice pupils chosen amongst the other participating trainees (no external practice pupils are allowed)

It also includes an introductory session (60 min.) at a welcome diner on the evening before the beginning of the Teachers’ Training to explain methodology and procedures during the training; a round table of pedagogical analysis (60 min) at the end of teaching days 1 and 2 and at the end of day 3 a personalised assessment and advice session (10 min. per participant) as a private conversation with Rachel Bersier.

Note: The participants themselves will act as test pupils to ensure the privacy of the event and to encourage the use of the different elements of Functional Voice Training (principles, auditive awareness, vocabulary, psychology) when dealing with vocal and pedagogical issues arising during the lesson. Each trainee will be able to work with all the participants’ voices according to themes identified by the trainees themselves always under the guidance and supervision of Rachel Bersier.
