Individual singing lessons of approximately 30 min. each include generally a technical element (20 min. app) and some work on repertoire (10 min.) for advanced students and for beginners it concentrates mainly on technical work. The participants can book one singing lesson per day, max. two. There will be 10 lessons per day.

Repertoire sessions of 20 min. are scheduled at the end of each teaching day as an optional complement to the individual singing lessons. Rachel Bersier will teach how to apply the principles of functional voice training to a particular piece of repertoire chosen by the pupil.

The piece(s) must be sung by heart and the text fully understood if it is in a foreign language. The participants can book optional repertoire sessions having booked at least one singing technique lesson.

Important: All active participants are encouraged to listen to the singing lessons and repertoire sessions of other pupils. The principles of Functional Voice Training are explained as specific vocal issues arise during a lesson. Passive auditors will be allowed during the entire duration of the Master Class
